Rubber auxiliaries help the national industry "green development.

Green is the general direction of the development of the world chemical industry, but also the eternal theme of the fine chemical industry such as rubber auxiliaries. Although after years of efforts, the rubber additives industry has made great progress in cleaner production, but there are still a small number of products will produce carcinogens nitrosamines, large tonnage product production of cleaner production process is not yet popular, some devices due to environmental pollution problems and forced to stop production, limited production situation still occasionally occur.


With the improvement of people's environmental awareness, as well as the official implementation of the "gas ten", "water ten" and the new "Environmental Protection Law", coupled with the huge pressure brought by the EU REACH regulations, the "13th Five-Year" period, the green process of the rubber auxiliaries industry must be accelerated.


In the author's opinion, the greening of rubber auxiliaries can be promoted from four aspects: promoting the greening of products, developing cleaner production processes, promoting effective "three wastes" governance models, and accelerating the integration of the industry.


Continue to promote the greening of products


At present, the accelerator NOBS, antioxidant and other large varieties of toxic and harmful rubber additives have achieved green replacement, the future focus should be on accelerating the adjustment of the super accelerator product structure, accelerating the industrialization process of TBzTD(tetrabenzyl thiuram disulfide), replacing TMTD(tetramethylthiuram disulfide) and other nitrosamine thiuram products. Among them, Thiuram super accelerator TMTD, TMTM(tetramethylthiuram monosulfide) and carbamate ZDC will produce carcinogens nitrosamines, and their main substitutes TBzTD and TiBTM(tetramethylthiuram monosulfide) have gradually realized industrialization. Pentachlorothiophenol chemical plasticizers have been discontinued in Europe and the United States, and their main substitute is DBD(2,2 '-dibenzoylamino-diphenyl disulfide). The production technology of these substitutes has been successfully developed in China, and their replacement efforts should be strengthened in the future.


Develop key technologies of cleaning process


The development and implementation of cleaner production process route is an important measure to ensure the green environmental protection of rubber auxiliary production process. In recent years, the clean production technology of oxygen oxidation to produce NS, the production technology of 10,000 tons of high thermal stability insoluble sulfur, the clean production process of 10,000 tons of clean pre-dispersing agent rubber auxiliary products, and the clean production process of replacing the traditional acid-base method with the production accelerator have made breakthroughs in realizing no waste water discharge. However, the wastewater problem of M, which is not only an accelerator but also a raw material of many accelerators, has not been fully solved, and the non-wastewater discharge technology needs to be popularized in a large area. In addition, clean production processes such as secondary sulfonamide accelerators and DM product oxidation processes, NS oxygen oxidation processes, and DM hydrogen peroxide oxidation processes have been successfully developed, but they also need to be promoted.


We will promote the "three wastes" management model


The wastewater of rubber additives represented by accelerators is mostly high salt, high COD and high resin wastewater. At present, the mainstream water treatment methods are multi-effect evaporation or MVR evaporation, biochemical treatment, catalytic oxidation, adsorption and so on. However, it has been proved that many wastewater treatment methods can not get good results in practical applications. Generally, the saline wastewater is first evaporated for desalting, and then the evaporated effluent is biochemical treated. Difficult to biochemical can be improved by catalytic oxidation and other methods, and then enter biochemical treatment. For advanced treatment, activated carbon adsorption or sand filtration can be used to make the effluent reach the standard. Among the existing treatment methods, "multi-effect evaporation or MVR evaporation + biochemical treatment" is the most effective treatment. However, there are still few enterprises in the industry that have the processing device at the same time, and it is necessary to accelerate the promotion and use in the industry.


Accelerate consolidation within the industry


Due to the promising prospects of rubber auxiliaries, domestic production capacity has expanded rapidly in recent years, and market competition will tend to be white-hot. Many small scale, single variety and no raw material supporting rubber additives enterprises will gradually be submerged in the wave of green chemical industry, large-scale, intensive business model will become the future rubber additives industry adjustment and layout trend.
